Pariksha Par Charcha 2024

“It’s time to leave exam stress behind and be inspired to do your best.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers, and parents in another engaging edition of Pariksha Par Charcha (PPC) at Bharatmandapam, PragatiMaidan, New Delhi on 29th January 2024. Students and teachers of Gwalior Glory High School attended the live telecast of the program. During the event, honourable Prime Minister Mr. NarendraModi shared tips with students, parents, and teachers to overcome exam stress. He not only answered their questions but also imparted valuable life lessons. Honourable Mr. Modi addressed various topics including family pressure, stress management, prevention of cheating, and career selection. Overall, the informal interactive session turned out to be quite engaging as the students learned valuable techniques to overcome exam stress.

Reading India Event- 2024

Reading India Event- 2024 was conducted by the Ministry of Culture and Development, Govt of India at Gwalior Glory High School with the objective of enhancing reading habit of the children. There were over 5000 titles with 40 different publishers, the CBSE Board recommended books. This three-day-event provided a platform for attendees to explore a rich and diverse selection of books. It not only promoted the love for reading but also served as means to broaden knowledge and understanding. The event encouraged literary exploration, enabling parents as well as students to discover new stories, gain insights, and foster a deeper appreciation for literature. Republic Day Celebration

May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right. India’s 75th Republic Day was commemorated at Gwalior Glory High School with great patriotic zeal and fervour.The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the Indian tricolour by the School Principal Dr. RajeshwariSawant, followed by the national anthem. This was followed by highly energetic March Past by the NCC cadets filling the hearts of Glorians with great pride and nationalism. Further English and Hindi speeches were delivered discussing the theme of this Republic Day ‘India- Mother of Democracy ‘. This day holds profound significance as it represents the establishment of India as a sovereign and democratic republic. It emphasises the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution. Glorians presented a group song celebrating the spirit of unity and joy followed by an enchanting dance performance by the students. The celebration was concluded with the Principal’s address to the Glorians. She appealed everyone to perform their duties with dedication. She emphasized the students to lead a disciplined life and reminded them of the importance of individual’s contribution in the upliftment of the country. She motivated students to strive towards perfection. Overall, the heart and soul of each Glorian reverberated with the true spirit of patriotism. On Republic Day, 2024, a dance competition was organised at SAF Ground, Gwalior. A team of our school participated in this competition. The cultural brilliance was illuminated on this occasion with a classical dance performance, themed on the five elements of nature. The honorable Collector of Gwalior city graced the event. It was a proud moment for our school that the performance earned the 2nd prize, symbolizing a harmonious blend of artistic expression and revelation of the mystery of nature. G20 Summit

Gwalior Glory High School recently played host to the first ever G-20 summit organized exclusively for young leaders. The summit brought together students from diverse backgrounds, fostering global dialogue and collaboration, witnessing discussions and deliberations on the agenda, “Prolific Deliberation, Economic Cooperation and the attainment of SDGs”. The summit was inaugurated with lightening of lamp by Principal Mam and Vice Principal Mam. The MUN Coordinator Ms. Kiran Kaur orchestrated a symphony of student talents, weaving together the threads of dedication and passion to craft a masterpiece of success for this event. Shuchi Laha was the President of the Summit. Glorian alumini Dev Jaisinghani , Anshika Gupta and Ashutosh Sharma appeared as conveners of the summit. Aradhya Jain and Rea Saxena were the Co-conveners for the day. International Press was lead by Editor in Cheif – Palak Gabra and Head of Photography -Harsh Gangwani. Organising Committee was lead by Ojas Dubey and Pravesh Gangwani. Vihangam 2023, Joy of Living

An ambience with joy and happiness, flooded with colorful lights, gorgeously dressed participants, the entire campus of Gwalior Glory High School resonated with zeal and zest. It was the vibrant occasion of annual day “Vihangam 2023, Joy of Living”. The programme commenced with welcoming the Chief Guest, Dr Arvind Kumar Shukla, the Vice Chancellor, Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia Agriculture University, Gwalior. Subsequently, the honorable chief guest lighted the lamp with Saraswati Vandana. The moment was also graced by the Directors, Mr. Gopi Mandhan, Mr. Vijay Wadhwani, Mrs. Anita Wadhwani, Mrs. Reena Mandhan, the Principal Dr.Rajeshwari Sawant and the Vice Principal Mrs.Shikha Sharma.The Annual report was presented by the principal and welcome speech was given by the head girl, Ms. Shuchi Laha.The chief guest, Dr. Arvind Kumar Shukla addressed the gathering with his motivating speech. He emphasised on skill building and personality development instead of just achieving marks. Dr. Shukla also enlightened the students to be compassionate, capable and humane towards the entire living world. Thereafter, the memento was presented to the chief guest by the Directors. The colorful programme started with medley. Glorians presented with enchanting songs and made the audience lost in the memories of childhood. After that, a western dance performance tuned on Bollywood’s children songs filled the environment with melodies. By Mime, the experiences from childhood to growing age were depicted. It spread a tingling sensation among parents showing how small moments can fill the life with happiness. A classical dance showed the importance of five elements air, water, fire, earth and sky. It was a mesmerizing performance. The flavor was added with the presentation of how sports, meditation and Yoga can make our lives healthy. Students presented with Basketball, meditation, Yoga and Zumba performance. In this programme, more than 600 students participated in various events. The whole ambience was echoed with the clapping and adoration. Eventually, the vote of thanks was presented by the sports captain, Ms. Ananya Tiwari. All were overwhelmed with happiness and joy which left an indelible impression on their heart. More Images
