Asian Junior Ranking Tennis Championship 2023
Asian Junior ranking Tennis championship was organised by Gwalior Chambal Tennis association from 6th November to 11th November. Many students of Gwalior Glory High School actively participated in the championship. Rudra Batham, a student of class 9E was the runner up in Boys Doubles under 16 age group and also secured 3rd place in singles. Gwalior Glory High school congratulates him and wishes him a happy and successful future.
Inter School Cricket Tournament 2023
Enthralling Victory of Gwalior Glory by 57 Runs in Inter School Cricket Tournament It was a day of pride and joy as our school triumphed in the Inter School Cricket Tournament held at Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior. The final match was played between Gwalior Glory High School and Pragati Vidya Peeth. Gwalior Glory High School won the toss and decided to bat first. The team made a commendable score of 146-3 in 20 overs. Arihant Jain of class XIIA showcased his mesmerizing performance with splendid 62 runs with 7 4s and Puru Bansal of Class XII made 47 runs. Ajinkya, Shashwat Rai and Abheer also batted and contributed for the team. Likewise, bowling also plays a crucial role. With the winning spirit, Glory’s bowlers presented a formidable challenge to Pragati Vidya Peeth. Shaurya Sharma of X E displayed extraordinary bowling skills and took 3 wickets, Shashwat Rai, X A and Naitik Jain, IX D took 2 wickets and Ram Shivhare from class XI D took 1 wicket and contributed to the victory of Gwalior Glory. The tournament trophy was bagged by our school in the final match as Pragati Vidya Peeth scored 89-9 in their 20 overs, and were defeated by 57 runs. It is our profound pleasure in announcing that Arihant Jain was awarded with ‘Man of the Tournament’ and ‘Man of the Match’ and Puru Bansal was awarded with the ‘Best Batsman’ of the Tournament. ‘Best Bowler’ title was received by Shashwat Rai for his excellent bowling. The torch light of the team, the Head of the Sports Department and their mentor, Mr. Hardeep Singh Gill was congratulated by the management for exceptional winning. CBSE West Zone Skating Championship 2023
Winning is not just an achievement, but a testament to the unwavering dedication, perseverance, and indomitable spirit within Glorian Priyadarshani Singh Kushwah of Grade 8 F once again brought laurels to the school as she received Gold Medal in 1000 meters race in CBSE WEST ZONE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 (Under 14 Category) held in Bhopal from 26th to 29th October 2023. We are proud to announce that the CBSE WEST ZONE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP, girls category, only one gold medal this year, is bagged by her and she has also been selected to represent our school at the CBSE National Championship. Sub Junior & Baby League Football 2023
A moment of pride and happiness for the Gwalior Glory High School as our young footballers brought laurels to the school by bagging the Winning-Trophy in Sub Junior & Baby League Football 2023 under the District Football Association,Gwalior from October 15,2023 to October 17,2023 at G.R.Medical Sports Complex, Gwalior. The first match was *won(1-0) by* *GGHS against LAHS (Team-A) The second match was won(4-0) by GGHS against LAHS (Team-B) The semi-final match was won(1-0) by GGHS against Army Public School. The final match was won (1-0) by GGHS against LAHS(Team-A) The team members (GGHS) who gave their splendid performance were: Arjun Yadav -VI A, Mahi Singh Tomar -VI D, Atharv Upadhyay – VII ,Manas Birthare – VII F Abhishek Pal – VII A, Kushagra Singh – VIII E, Aayush Rajput – VIII A, Gyan Singh – VIII G, Love Singh – VIII G, Yashvardhan Dandotia -VIII G, Satyam Sharma – VIII G. The Star-Performers for the tournament were: Satyam Sharma (The Best Player Award)Atharv Upadhyay (The Best Goal-keeper Award). The Glorians received guidance from Coach Mr.Harish Yadav. Chapter Convention On Quality Concepts- 2023 Chapter Convention On Quality Concepts- 2023 held at ABVIIITM on 2nd Sept’ 23 . The 9 QUALITY CIRCLES TEAMS showcased their dedication and hard work through their impressive case studies, aiming to bring forth innovative solutions. Out of 9 teams, a remarkable 7 secured the Gold Award demonstrating excellence and superior performance in their respective projects. The remaining 2 teams earned the Silver Award, reflecting their commendable efforts and achievements.The various topics taken by students’ teams were- Heavy Bags of student cause health issues, Use of Slang words prevalent on social media by students , Students hesitant to express their emotions in healthy manner, Conservation of plants , less physical activity among students. Teachers’ teams case studies were based on challenges faced by teachers in implementation of Experiential Learning, Competency Based Education and School Quality Assessment and Assurance. The competition, which spanned across 4 distinct categories- Poem, Poster Slogan and Essay, the winners were – Best Poem – Guhika Jain Best Poster – Chahat Bhatija Best Poster-Ms. Taposhi Nath Best Slogan- Tanishi Tomar Consolation Prize Essay- Tanishi Tomar The School Principal, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant was also awarded #SUPER PERFORMER AWARD# as stalwart for propagating Quality Practices In School. The Gwalior Glory High School was also acknowledged as SUPER PERFORMER AWARD for providing exemplary services in the field of education in Gwalior which was received by School Quality Circle Coordinator, Ms. Prafull Nigam, on behalf of Gwalior Glory High School. Ms.ShellySaxena has remarkably done anchoring of the whole programme and kept the audience captivated. Ms. Jayati Mukerji, Ms.Rekha Tiwari and Ms. Kiran Kaur were also got the honour of being as judges in the panel for evaluating the case studies. AUMPMUN 2023
Chapter Convention On Quality Concepts- 2023 Glorians enthusiastically participated in AUMPMUN 2023, organised on 24th and 25th of August at Amity University, Gwalior. Around 700 delegates participated in the event. The conference comprised of 8 committees, including International Press. Some of the schools which participated were Little Angels High School, Amity International School, Army Public School, Doon Public School, Greenwood Public School, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh and many more. Glorians participated in the conference in different committees as delegates, putting forth their views and providing solutions on national issues, and bagged the maximum number of awards. The GGHS team was mentored by MUN Co-ordinator Ms. Kiran Kaur. The prizes bagged by the glorians are: UNHRC : Ensuring the Preservation of Human Rights with recent increase in reliance over Artificial Intelligence.
