Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar under Best School and Best Student category bagged by GGHS
To create awareness towards environment protection , many measures are being taken by the government. Education is a very significant medium to bring change. To recognize environment friendly initiatives by institutions and students , Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change under the aegis of Centre for Environment Education and ArcelorMittal invited entries for Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar. The event was conducted at Regional Institute of Education , Ajmer and stretched for 5 days.
On the final day in ‘Prakriti Mela’ many competitions were organized. On the concluding day, Gwalior Glory was selected as Top 20 Best Schools amongst lakhs of entries and Glorian Muskan Agarwal was selected among 10 Best Students of the country for Paryavaran Mitra Student Puraskar – 2014. She also has to her credit the honor of being the only award winner from M.P. Among the other award winners in the Best Student category, 5 were from U.P, 2 from Gujarat and one student each from schools from Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
Creative skills in Poster Making Competition bagged Ishika Ailani 3rd position in the event whereas Garima Sharma was presented with the certificate of participation. Ms. Jaya Sharma, the Eco Club Coordinator escorted the team to the event which is organized every year to bring forth unique projects and vision for saving the nature.
