Gwalior Glory High School honoured with ‘School with Most Qualified Faculty Award’

Teachers are the nation builders. They play the role of a friend, philosopher and guide for the learners shaping them with affection, instilling confidence in them hence grooming them into individuals who can analyse, think rationally and grow collectively. Gwalior Glory High School with the motto of ‘Care , Capacity, Capability’ always tries to strengthen the 3 pillars of education- Educators, Learners and Community. In line with the philosophy of the school, faculty development programmes, wellness programmes etc are conducted for the staff of the institution augmenting their knowledge and skill. The efforts of the organization has been acknowledged with the ‘School with the Most Qualified Faculty’ Award at the Indian School Awards organized by the Times of India, Chitkara University- Punjab and RoboChamps. Nominations were sent by around 650 schools from all across the country in various categories. The award was presented by Dr.Madhu Chitkara (Vice Chancellor , Chitkara University- Punjab)

Gwalior Glory High School secures 1st position in Swachh Vidyalaya Sarvekshan 2017

In December 2017 , a survey was done by Gwalior Municipal Corporation in the schools of the city on parameters of cleanliness and hygiene maintained in their premises. Gwalior Glory High School has secured 1st position in the initiative. The school has been acknowledged for its endeavours related to creating awareness and conducting activities to contribute towards the Swachh Bharat Mission. Regular sessions by experts associated with the cause, rallies, street plays and movies are the various modes through which the consciousness is being raised by the students in the community. The award was presented by Hon’ble Mayor of Gwalior, Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar to the Principal of the institution, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant. The Principal addressed the gathering saying “If every individual pledges to abide by the responsibilities sincerely as an aware citizen then not only the city, the entire nation can set an example for other countries” The Directors have congratulated the entire staff and students of Gwalior Glory High School on the glorious achievement.

Life Empowerment Awards for Schools organized by Expressions India in Delhi

The commendation for Life Empowerment Award for schools 2017 was organised in Delhi on 17th August, 2017 by Expressions India. The core objective behind these awards is to assess the level of overall development including attainment of curriculum parameters, so the schools can empower, support and streamline the co-scholastic and allied elements to effectively promote child and adolescent wellbeing in an inclusive environment. The school was represented by Ms. Kavita Upadhyay and Ms. Mamta Arora at Life Empowerment Awards for the School 2017. The programme was chaired by distinguished luminaries like, Editor in Chief, Indian T.V. – Mr. Rajat Sharma and Padmashree Ms. Shobhana Narayan. Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar

Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar under Best School and Best Student category bagged by GGHS To create awareness towards environment protection , many measures are being taken by the government. Education is a very significant medium to bring change. To recognize environment friendly initiatives by institutions and students , Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change under the aegis of Centre for Environment Education and ArcelorMittal invited entries for Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar. The event was conducted at Regional Institute of Education , Ajmer and stretched for 5 days.On the final day in ‘Prakriti Mela’ many competitions were organized. On the concluding day, Gwalior Glory was selected as Top 20 Best Schools amongst lakhs of entries and Glorian Muskan Agarwal was selected among 10 Best Students of the country for Paryavaran Mitra Student Puraskar – 2014. She also has to her credit the honor of being the only award winner from M.P. Among the other award winners in the Best Student category, 5 were from U.P, 2 from Gujarat and one student each from schools from Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Creative skills in Poster Making Competition bagged Ishika Ailani 3rd position in the event whereas Garima Sharma was presented with the certificate of participation. Ms. Jaya Sharma, the Eco Club Coordinator escorted the team to the event which is organized every year to bring forth unique projects and vision for saving the nature.
